Dan Vogt of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, faced Bakersfield's Clint Hairston in the $20,000-to-win Pro Street final. Hairston - hobbled by an ailing engine in his 2007 GTO - could only sit on the starting line and watch Vogt haul the lion's share of the purse across the border.

HOT STREET: Vic Brum (Peoria, Ariz.) defeated Tony Aneian (N. Hollywood, Calif.).

WILD STREET: David Schwarz (San Diego) defeated George Raygoza (Orland, Calif.).

OPEN COMP: Mike Matranga (Lakewood, Calif.) defeated Mike Hadtrath (Las Vegas).

BRACKET 1: Justin Lamb (Henderson) defeated Mike Williams (Tilley, Alb., Canada).

MUSTANG MADNESS: Kirk Bouchard (Canyon Country, Calif.) defeated Paul Huizenga (San Diego).

SUPER INDEX: Jaclyn Generalao (Las Vegas) defeated Doug Crumlich (Irvine, Calif.).

DOUBLE INDEX: Ken Spears (Las Vegas) defeated Sergio Felipe (San Francisco).

John Urist (far lane) ran a 7.344/191.51 taking the win over Mike Keenan's 7.469/202.64 in the Extreme Drag Radial final round. Urist's Mustang ran consistently with a 7.325 in a round one win over Lonnie Patrick, a 7.330 win over Al Jiminez, a round three single, a 7.314/192.49 in the semi's and a 7.344 in the final.

Outlaw 10.5 winner; Surrey, British Colombia's Dale Monzik's 833-inch '68 El Camino. Monzik's 6.778/204.14 win in round one over Chris Kephart, defeated Gary Ross with a 6.764/206.48 in the second round, ran a 6.790/206.07 over Rick Snavely in the third round and in the Semi's took the win over a red lighting Doug Sikora in his Mustang.

Outlaw 10.5 number one qualifier and dominant in eliminations, Billy Glidden, in his Mickey Thompson tires-backed, Ford-powered GTO couldn't keep the engine running, apparently hurting the engine on the burnout in his final round match with Dale Moznik's '68 El Camino.

It was normal maintenance on his 738-inch engine for Dan Vogt going into the final round of Pro Street.

Jake Hairston searches for the reason their turbocharged GTO blew out smoke past the lights in their semi-final win over Randy Kay, apparently a blown head gasket prevented the team from making a final round pass against Canadian Dan Vogt's '63 Corvette, giving Vogt a single.

The end of the road for Brad Personett came in the semi-final round when brake problems toppled the hard charging Camaro in his match with Dan Vogt's Vette. Although the 5-second zone eluded Personett here at Las Vegas, his 6.123 nailed the third qualifying spot, a 6.346 defeated Scott Oksas in round one, an all out 6.042/223.99 in round two to ward off Cary Goforth's holeshot and a 6.265 win over John Scialpi in the third round.

ADRL XTF stalwart Todd Moyer brought his all-black 2004 Chevy Cavalier, the replacement for Moyer's familiar blue Firebird that was destroyed in Houston. Moyer's 622-inch Pro Street Cavalier qualified eleventh at a 6.294/225.26, but went out in round one against John Scialpi.

Clint Hairston was having one of the best race days of his career with the family's little GTO, qualifying ninth for the tough field with a 6.234/234.37. Then in the first round carded a 6.168/236.51 to defeat Garrett Richards, a 6.358/231.00 in the second over Bret Williamson, a 6.186/235.39 in round three over Troy Coughlin, and going into the semi's, ran another strong 6.209/233.12 - winning on a holeshot, defeating Randy Kay's 6.162/233.12 in his '63 Vette.

New Jersey's Pat "Popeye" Musi was on a String for much of Sunday's eliminations, going out in the third round to Dan Vogt.

Nick Scavo took out Scott Slotten in the second round of Outlaw 10.5 with a 6.719/218.30 pass.

SCSN Promoter Mel Roth congratulated Coby Rabon on his stellar performance in Pro Street over the weekend. Coby Robon and his twin-turbo Mustang shattered the Pro Street speed record on Friday and easily earned No. 1 Qualifier status with a late-night pass of 5.98 sec./243.59 mph. But Robon, of Ridgeway, S.C., didn't make it to the final round as he was eliminated Sunday afternoon.

Troy Coughlin's .001 reaction time over Coby Rabon's -.001 foul, Rabon threw away low elapsed time of the event, a 5.961/245.09 to Coughlin's 6.351.

Kirk Wilmes makes a long burnout, but broke in his second round Pro Street match against Canadian Dan Vogt's Vette.

Brad Personett's 6.042/221.99 made up for a starting line advantage for Cary Goforth at 6.354/220.26.

Pat Musi won in the second round of Pro Street over Vinny Demieri, Musi runs 6.308 to Demieri's 6.445.

John Scialpi took the win over a a red lighting Trevor Lowe in the battle of the '57 Chevy's during the second round of Pro Street. Lowe threw away a 6.298 to Scialpi's 6.371.

Richard Klann broke his '01 Neon "Motown Missile", but took the win over a red lighting Ron Weems' Grand Am

Mike Murillo's .000 reaction time and a 6.779/212.03 in his '93 Mustang was too much for Mike Keener's 7.405 in his '66 Chevelle.

Chris Alston's trick '64 Nova got a single when Greg Hunter broke in the first round of Outlaw 10.5. Alston ran a 7.415/151.56.

Rick Snavely (far lane) defeated Kevin Delap, 7.212 to 8.579

Chris Storlie's cool '55 Chevy was no match for Nick Slavo's Camaro. Slavo took the stripe with a 6.735 to Storlie's 7.646.

#1 qualifier Billy Glidden took out #32 Joe Bauer's wheelstanding '62 Nova, running a 6.573 to Bauer's 7.646 in the first round of Outlaw 10.5.

Doug Sikora (near lane) gave up a huge starting line advantage in his first round match with Shane Thompson, but made it up on the top end with a 6.796 to Thompson's 7.372.

Canadian Dale Moznick's '68 El Camino took the first round over Chris Kephart's '62 Impala with a winning 6.778/204.14 in Outlaw 10.5

John Scialpi's 6.388 took the win over Todd Moyer's '04 Chevy Cavalier running 7.546.

Terry Housler's Vette was no match for Randy Walker's El Camino.

Shawn Jones drops the laundry after was defeated by Pat Musi.

Troy Coughlin's 6.290/225.48 charge in his Jeg's-backed Pontiac GXP defeated Bob Bunker's 6.610.

Lee Smith (far lane) took this first round victory over Mike Maggio, with Smith running 6.457 to Maggio's 6.831 in Pro Street.

Dean Goforth's -.290 redlight (near lane) gave the automatic win to his son Cary who ran a 6.318/220.37 on this first round pass.

Scott Oksas in his Mustang needed everything he had in this first round match against #3 qualifier Brad Personett. Personett's 6.346 took out Oksas' 6.424.

In another first round upset, a wheelstanding Kelly Bluebaugh (#29 qualifier) defeated Scott Bailey (#4 qualifier) with a 6.568 to Bailey's 7.589.

Billy Glidden who has dominated the Outlaw 10.5 class in Qualifying took the time to check the track before his first round race.

#1 qualifier Coby Rabon maintained his dominance in Pro Street with an easy 6.491/218.16 round win over Canadian Perry Thyr.

After side-by-side burnouts, Dan Vogt's Corvette took the win over a broken Tim Henry with a 6.392.

Randy Kay's '63 Vette took the win over Tim Henry, who broke on this run.

Clint Hairston took care of Garrett Richards' '06 Silverado, with Hairston's turbo GTO running a great 6.168/236.51 to Richard's 6.822.

The first pair of Pro Street gave up the first major upset of Round 1. Trevor Lowe's 6.296 in his '57 Chevy defeated #6 qualifier Giuseppe Gentile's Mustang, shutting off at mid-track.
