Superchips 2007 – 2009 GM 2.0L Turbo Coverage

The performance bred 2.0L turbo is now even more exciting for street and track uses with the addition of the Flashpaq. Coverage includes the 2008 – 2009 Cobalt SS; 2007 – 2009 Solstice GXP; 2007 – 2009 Sky Redline; and 2008 – 2009 HHR SS. Flashpaq also works out of the box with most cold-air intakes, free-flowing exhaust systems, under drive pulleys and some aftermarket throttle bodies.

The performance tune provides enhanced throttle response, optimized transmission shift points (automatic only), and noticeable drivability improvements. The Cobalt SS gains up to 40.0 horsepower and 53.2 lb-ft of torque; the Solstice GXP and Sky Redline gain 24.3 horsepower and 22.8 lb-ft of torque when equipped with an automatic transmission or 28.4 horsepower and 43.2 lb-ft of torque with a manual transmission. The HHR SS with an automatic transmission gains 47.7 horsepower and 55.1 lb-ft of torque; manual transmission gains 60.8 horsepower and 79.8 lb-ft of torque.

The Flashpaq includes many useful features including working as a diagnostic scan tool, real-time in-cabin vehicle sensor display, vehicle performance data logger for 0 – 60 and ¼ miles times, and speed limiter & rev limiter adjustment tool.

RHS Pro Elite SBC 23-Degree CNC-Ported Iron Cylinder Heads

Engineers at RHS have recently designed the only Small Block Chevy 23-degree cast iron head that is CNC-ported from the factory. The precision accuracy and durability of the RHS Pro Elite SBC 23-Degree CNC-Ported Iron Cylinder Heads are derived not only from the precision CNC-porting of the intake and exhaust runners but the CNC-ported combustion chamber, as well.

Before CNC machining even occurs, these revolutionary cylinder heads are designed using the RHS exclusive Clean Cast Technology to deliver superior port-to-chamber transitions for greater airflow. The CNC-ported 228cc intake and 82cc exhaust runners optimize volume, atomization and velocity while the 69cc combustion chambers are CNC-ported to relieve valve shrouding that occurs in “as cast” chambers when the edge of a valve is in close proximity to the combustion chamber wall. By CNC-machining the combustion chamber, RHS was able to improve the airflow efficiency of the cylinder heads.

The 2.055” multi angle intake and 1.600” radiused exhaust valve seats allow for superior airflow, thereby significantly increasing horsepower. In addition, these 23-degree SBC heads feature a refined water jacket for more even water flow to reduce engine “hot spots” and an extra-thick deck to allow angle milling. The thick deck surface also improves head gasket retention in boosted and nitrous applications. For racing classes that mandate cast iron head use, RHS has designed a race-winning cast iron head that utilizes the latest in cylinder head technology.

PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS POWERFLOW FUEL PRESSURE REGULATORS FOR MUSTANGS

Installing a fuel pressure regulator is required if you’ve upgraded to a higher pressure, higher volume fuel pump, changed the fuel filter or increased the horsepower of your Mustang’s engine.
