This view from the top shows how the body is wider at the rear than in the front. Check out how square the body is when viewed from the rear. It almost looks as if it is a kamback. Troy will probably need both of the chutes to slow this beast down. The “Remove before flight” tags are a nice touch. The indications of directed airflow are everywhere. Check out the body work behind the front and rear wheels.
The stand alone carbon fiber wing has a nice wickerbill molded into the side spill plate. Judging from the angle of the rear of the wing itself, down-force shouldn’t be an issue with this car.
Since this car is going to be powered by a twin-turbocharged engine and air delivery to the turbos is an issue, the Jerry Haas team built a couple of air boxes where the GTO grill would be and then fabricated a carbon fiber pipe that will go directly from the air box to the inlet side of the turbochargers.
The car retains a stock appearing dash with the usual array of gauges.
