By 1974 they abandoned the heavy AMX body and got themselves a Vega body. This shot is from the ‘74 U.S. Nats. We dig the flames on this car!

Alky Funny Cars

In 1972 the brothers abandoned the altered and switched over to an AMX-bodied BB/FC shown here at the U.S. Nationals. They always had the unusual vehicle as witnessed by the AMX body. By now they had a few decals on the car including a big JEGS decal.

Here is the car at the 1971 U.S. Nats at Indianapolis.
