This shows one of the pucks installed in the center chunk that the 2-inch bar is located with. Very simple and effective.

Next, have two locating pucks made that have the proper ID to fit your 2-inch bar and also have a “male” step machined into the face of one side that will locate into the new, or re-used, housing ends of your choosing. In my case I am using Competition Engineering billet steel ends ( #C9506) that are the early big Ford size which is 3.154”. The ends also have threaded ½”-20 UNF mounting holes for use with studs. You are now on the way to having the “Terminator” of all housing narrowing fixtures!

Here you can see the center installed and the outer housing end locater slid onto the 2 in. bar assuring a concentric setup.
