Increased Traffic Expected During NHRA Four-Wide Nationals

As thousands of race fans descend upon zMAX Dragway for the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals April 13-15, commuters can expect increased traffic on roadways surrounding the speedway throughout the three-day event. Thousands of visitors are expected at the speedway throughout the weekend, with high volumes of traffic anticipated during the Friday evening rush hour, throughout the day Saturday and again on Sunday afternoon.

zMAX Dragway officials recommend NHRA fans heading to the drag strip utilize U.S. Hwy. 29 and N.C. Hwy. 49 to enter/exit the speedway area, and urge motorists to avoid Interstate 85/Exit 49 and Bruton Smith Boulevard as much as possible. [4/10/2012]

K&N HORSEPOWER CHALLENGE OFFERS FANS A CHANCE TO SELECT THE EIGHTH SPOT ON THE STARTING GRID

NHRA fans will choose who will compete in the 2012 K&N Horsepower Challenge at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals Norwalk, Ohio, July 6-8. Eight lucky NHRA fans will have the opportunity to see the event live, and one really lucky NHRA fan will leave the event as the owner of a 2012 K&N Horsepower Challenge Edition Toyota Tundra.
