DRO’s Alex Rogeo Runner Up in PSCA Accufab West Coast Shootout

Alex Rogeo, aka Alex the Car Girl (holding trophy), and the Mopar Max magazine “Maulin’ Magnum” ascended to the finals in the Pacific Street Car Association’s Accufab West Coast Shootout drag race at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the ultra competitive, unlimited Bracket-1 class.

Fighting a malfunctioning torque converter all weekend, Alex and the Maulin’ Magnum ended race day with a hard fought runner up trophy.

“What a weekend,” Alex said, “We’ve only had two races with our new Magnuson Supercharger and my crew chief Richard (Kratz) discovered at the end of practice on Friday that our torque converter is beginning to fail. Richard worked hard all weekend just to get us dial-ins that were close enough for me to work with.”  (Richard Kratz photo) [10/10/2011]
