Wheels up!

John Troxel is the owner and Chris Schneider is the driver of this former Della Wood AA/FC. The pair have been trying to get the car to live up to its potential for a couple of years and now they are getting very close. They recently built a new Donovan Hemi with some help from Roland Leong, and when they kept blowing up the 727 trans the period correct ’71 Challenger uses, they had BTE in Memphis completely rebuild the trans guts using some billet parts from Tranz-act. Ticket for Thursday pro qualifying at Indy just $14

One of the Agent’s gripes about professional drag racing these days is the cost of tickets. So when he sees a deal he just has to make note of it. For you rabid NHRA fans who are already in Indianapolis a ticket for any seat in the house to watch Sportsman qualifying Thursday, Sept. 2, which includes the only special race left at the Nationals, the Hemi Challenge for SS/AH, is just $14.00!
 
It is worth noting that the most you will have to pay for a ticket this year at Indy is $49. That price qualifies as a bargain as far as the Agent is concerned. [9/1/2010]
