Burbage takes big bucks at shortened SCSN event

Rod and Melynda Burbage’s 1958 Corvette won the $20,000 Pro Street finale over Giuseppe Gentile’s ’08 Mustang after the Street Car Supernationals VI was shortened to an 1/8 mile event with rain, snow, cold and 45-mile per hour wind gusts. Burbage covered the Strip at Las Vegas with a 4.039/186.72 mph charge over Gentile’s off-pace 5.882 ET to take the win late Sunday evening.

In an all-Mustang final, Mike Murillo (shown) was the Outlaw 10.5 Champion over Doug Sikora in a tight race with Murillo running a 4.378/177.04 mph winning over Sikora’s 4.309/178.71 mph.  (James Drew photo)

Roger Holder defeated Josh Lindsay in the Extreme Drag Radial final round. Holder’s 4.724/154.71 edged out Texan Lindsay’s 4.778/160.42 mph.
