Fast Jack takes wild ride at Sacto

“Fast” Jack Beckman got an unexpected thrill ride during the Funny Car Fever nostalgia event at Sacramento Raceway on Saturday, April 25. He was making his first appearance as an AA/FC driver shoeing Lee Jenning’s new Camaro at only the second race for the stunning new Camaro. Reports of her demise were greatly exaggerated

Rumors have been running rampant on the Internet about the condition of Anna Lisa Smith, daughter of Bruton Smith, who was severely injured in a traffic accident last year.

Well Anna Lisa showed up at the PINKS All-Out event at her dad's zMAX Dragway Saturday, April 25, and she's about 90% recovered from her ankle injuries.

Anna Lisa, who had aspirations of driving a Top Fuel car before her accident, tried on for size the cockpit of Dick Rosberg's "Thriller" Jet Dragster and told the Agent’s operative that she's probably going to have one more surgery and a lot more rehab before she can get back in a race car.
