Daily Pro Mod and Hemi Challenge updates from Indy on DRO
We hope you’ve been checking out our daily entries by “Nitro Joe” Jackson on the Hemi Challenge cars at Indianapolis. That’s Don Bales’ brand new “Silver Bullet” Cuda shown above.
Today we add the Pro Mod blog of Woody Woodruff. In addition, Jeff Burk will be looking back at the cars and action from previous Indy Pro Mod Challenges starting with 2001. We’ll have something new every day.

DSR open house to feature auction of Capps’ fire suit and other items
The NAPA AUTO PARTS fire suit worn by NAPA AUTO PARTS Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car driver Ron Capps in early-season promotional shoots and also during the first several 2008 NHRA events will be up for live auction at the Don Schumacher Racing Open House in Brownsburg, Ind., on Friday, Aug. 29.
Also included in the live auction, which begins at 12:40 p.m., and whose proceeds will benefit the Riley Hospital for Children, will be a Valvoline helmet signed by all 2007 and 2008 DSR drivers.
DSR opens its doors at 10 a.m. at 1681 E. Northfield Dr., Brownsburg, Ind., and events will include the live auctions, as well as raffles of DSR and team sponsor items throughout the day. [8/27/2008]
