SCHUMACHER FINED $100K FOR ‘UNAUTHORIZED’ NITRO
Don Schumacher Racing had some of their own brand of nitromethane in their pits at Las Vegas last weekend and the NHRA’s Graham Light announced that was in violation of NHRA’s rules regarding the use and handling of nitromethane. The rule basically forbids teams from having more than 400 lbs of anything other than the official NHRA nitromethane in their pits. Schumacher reportedly had multiple barrels of his own brand of nitro (Pro Nitro) which is NHRA legal for use in testing after or before national events in his pit during the event and was fined one hundred large for the error. Schumacher will appeal.
Maybe Schumacher and the NHRA will take their case to Judge Judy’s “people’s court” to settle their differences.
See Susan Wade’s News & Anlysis” on the subject for more information tomorrow and check out Burk's Blast today. [4/14/2008]

A MONSTER OF A JOB

Yep, making those personal appearances to keep a sponsor happy is tough, isn’t it Tommy? Just to be fair, the Agent thinks Melanie should have three guys in Procare RX thongs for eye candy. (Ron Lewis photo) [4/14/2008]
