B&M HOSTS CHARITY CAR SHOW

B&M Racing brought back one of their traditions over the weekend to San Fernando Valley hot rodders with the 1st annual B&M, Hurst and McLeod Charity Car Show held in the parking lots and on the streets around the Chatsworth, CA headquarters. A couple of hundred drag racers and show cars attended with Jay Leno stopping by with one of his meticulously restored luxury Duisenberg roadsters. HIGHT HELPS HANG OUT THE LAUNDRY

Robert Hight used his last qualifying pass at the Summitracing.com NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas to capture the No. 1 qualifying position with a run of 4.849 seconds and hand Carolyn Hills of Goodyear, Ariz., a new Whirlpool washer and dryer as part of the BrandSource “Win with Force” promotion. At sixteen select events during the 2008 POWERade Drag Racing Series when any one of the four John Force Racing Funny Cars qualifies No 1 at the event one lucky winner wins a Whirlpool washer and dryer set.

Ford Racing has joined the promotion by adding the BrandSource/Ford Racing Sweepstakes and its Grand Prize, a Mustang GT Coupe with Ford Racing Performance Packs. BrandSource will collect entries for the Sweepstakes at races, on-line at www.brandsource.com, as well as in BrandSource dealer locations in the coming weeks.
