BARONA BRACKET SERIES TO RUN ON SUNDAY

The second race of the Barona Renegade Bracket Series will be held Sunday, March 30, at Ramona, CA. This series has Electronics and Non-Electronics bracket classes running for points, money, and the Barona track championship.

NMRA HEADS FOR SILVER DOLLAR RACEWAY

This year has been dubbed the Tenth Anniversary Tour for the National Mustang Racers Association Keystone Ford Nationals series, and they head into their second event of 2008. Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA, will once again play host for the 8th Annual Bassani Xhaust NMRA Ford Nationals on April 4-6.

The track got a little TLC during the off-season, with new concrete in the water boxes, the high and low spots leveled, and a resurfacing.
This year's race brings extra drama in the form of two shootouts for extra cash on Saturday.

The Nitto Tire Shootout will pit the best in ProCharger Super Street Outlaw against each other for a total of $4,500 in cash prizes, while the top drivers in ACT Clutch Factory Stock will compete for $1,740 in bonus bucks in the BFGoodrich Tires Shootout.[3/28/2008]
