BAMM PRO MOD MAKES DEBUT

The BAMM motorsports team attended it first race March 22 as the Quick 8 Outlaws converged on the famed "House Of Hook" in Jackson, SC. The Tommy Mauney=built Corvette is powered by a Gene Fulton engine and qualified No. 8. Team president Jack Barfield, along with Bryan Morris and Jason Mote, handled the tuning duties during the event. The car ran a string of sixty-foot times ranging from 1.00 to 1.03.

"We were simply planning to come to this first race and qualify well and hope to get at least one round win and that is exactly what we accomplished today. Running a 4.21 at only 170 mph tells us we have a lot left in the car," said Miles.

The team will be at the next Quick 8 Outlaws event on April 26 in Jacksonville, NC.  (photo courtesy BAMM Racing) [3/24/2008]
