Facility improvements underway at Eddyville

Several facility improvements are underway at Eddyville Raceway Park. The improvements are being made at the track top end run-off area for safety purposes. "We have entered into an agreement with one of our neighboring farmers to take out the tree line plus fill and level the run-off area" said Managing Partner Gerald Kramer. "An incredible amount of dirt has already been moved.”

In addition, the far end of the spectator parking lot has also been leveled out. "This will make a huge difference in getting the spectators parked for our major events," said owner Scott Gardner. "This probably will give us a 30% larger area for parking."

Super Chevy Show fans donate to JEGS Foundation

Because of personal experiences with family members and friends who were touched by cancer's devastating effects, the Coughlin family began The JEGS Foundation. The Foundation's goals are to advance cancer research and build awareness.

The motto "Racing for Cancer Research" was coined because of the donations generated by race earnings to achieve these goals. This has now been expanded to corporate earnings as well.

Thanks to the generation donations of Super Chevy Show fans across the country, the JEGS Foundation Race for a Cancer received a check for $4,895. "There isn't a family in the World that hasn't faced this disease at one time or another. I am thankful for our Super Chevy Show fans that gave so graciously from their hearts to help us in our fund raising efforts for this great cause," stated Greg Baumer National Sales/Advertising Director of Auto Star Productions.
