Romine ready to ‘Man up’ and ride

Here are the first photos of the ready-to-race Romine, Spitzer and Burk AA/FC. The Mustang flopper will be named “Man-o-War” after one of the most famous and successful Thoroughbreds in horse racing history. The car was fired and warmed up on 100% nitro in Mike Spitzer’s Indianapolis shop and deemed ready to go. The car will now get lettered and as soon as the guys can find a track in a warm climate they will go to test and get Paul Romine his AA/FC license.

In addition to whatever other races the team attend, they have committed to running the car at the 2009 March Meet at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, CA. [11/11/2008]

The Agent couldn’t let the day go without wishing Hall of Fame racer Chris Karamesines a Happy Birthday! (We think it’s number 80, but we’re not positive.) A tip of the Agent’s Chivas Regal bottle to the Greek.  (Jeff Burk photo) [11/11/2008]
