NEW CAMARO ROADSTERS DEBUT

The first two of Race Tech’s new “Super Class Crusher” ‘68 Camaro Roadsters have come out of the Burlington, NC, shop. Currently two competitors, noted sportsman racer Duane LaFleur and RCR engine builder Rick Mann (shown) have debuted their Camaro’s in competition.
LaFleur, of Rochester, NY, made the first appearance in his Jiffy-Tite/Valvoline backed roadster at the NHRA LODRS event at Summit Raceway Park, where he took home runner-up honors in the Super Gas Top 8 event. The following weekend, LaFleur earned “Best Engineered Car” at the NHRA LODRS event at Maple Grove Raceway.
Meanwhile, Mann has been testing and bracket racing in the North Carolina area with his SB2 powered roadster. (photo courtesy Race Tech)[5/30/2007]
BUT DADS, WHERE ARE THOSE JUNIOR DRAGSTERS?
Second generation racers Zach Beard and Dalton Millican have chosen vehicles other than dragsters with which to start their racing careers.

It only took rookie rider Dalton Millican three races to collect his first ATVA championship trophy. The son of Top Fuel driver and six-time IHRA champion Clay Millican and his wife, Donna, took the lead early on both his motos and never surrendered the lead to win the May 27 Blue Grass Nationals ATVA (All-Terrain Vehicle Association) event at Bowling Green, KY.
Dalton’s teammate on Evan Knoll’s Knoll-Gas Motorsports/Lonestar Racing team is Keith Parker.
