PRO EXTREME NOTES FROM MONTGOMERY MOTORSPORTS PARK
Matt Hagen ran his first ever sub four-second laps during testing for the ADRL Spring Drags at Montgomery, AL. Hagen confirmed to the Agent that Todd Tutterow wasn’t joining his team as previously reported but that he was “helping” the team in an unofficial status. The Agent has also been told the Hagen has ordered a new car from Tim McAmis and may be ordering yet another from a different car builder.

Chip King (shown) showed up at Montgomery Motorsports Park with new Flowmaster signage on his Challenger and was parked next to the Flowmaster display. The Agent heard a rumor that the King may be negotiating a new sponsorship with an as yet unnamed company. King, who had a brand new Bill Barrett Hemi in his car, broke the ex-member that runs under the trans on a test lap. The driver blamed the breakage on “Too much power.” (Jeff Burk photo) [04/16/07]
