A ‘WALLY’ FOR LOUIS
Southern California motorsports reporter and sports columnist Louis Brewster was handed the Pro Stock Wally by Greg Anderson during closing ceremonies for the Winternationals.
Brewster, who could be characterized as the "Dean of Los Angeles Motorsports Writers" was also given the World Finals Funny Car Wally by John Force last fall.
In handing the trophy to Brewster, Anderson reportedly said, "Louis always makes me laugh." (Darr Hawthorne photo) [02/12/07]
THE PEDAL TO THE METAL

2006 Goodguys VRA Nostalgia Funny Car Champion Kris Krabill in Gary Turner’s “Pedaler” Plymouth Arrow and Mike Savage driving the “Speed Sport” Barracuda put on a Saturday exhibition show with side-by-side smoky burnouts for the crowd at the Pomona Winternationals. Krabill took the match running 6.294/231.83 to a shutoff 8.076/120.23 for Savage.
