ANDREACCHI GETS A BELT AND BLADES

Sam Andreacchi, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, will be the latest nitrous racer to make the switch from bottled horsepower to belt-driven horsepower.

With the help of Dominic Calbria, owner of Paul Wolf Electric, Andreacchi has made the move to an Al Billes-built BAE Hemi.

The team plans to campaign the 1969 Chevrolet Nova on the PRMA and OSCA circuits for the rest of 2006 and will possibly venture to the IHRA Pro Mod class.  (photo courtesy Andreacchi race team)  [7-6-2006]
