The IHBA boats are coming to Charlie Allen's Firebird Raceway on May 6-7. HILL WINS AT THE ROCK
Fresh off his $50,000 win at Huntsville Dragway's Outlaw Nationals, Washington, GA's Mike Hill (shown) proved itwas no fluke by coming out on top again at the Outlaw 10.5 Civil Wars this past weekend at Rockingham Dragway. No. 1 qualifier Steve Kirk(4.511/163.89) went out with a red light against Jack Barfield in round one, while Hillqualified second with a 4.53 at 162.47 in his 2005 Mustang.
Hill ran in the .50s throughout eliminations, taking out Bobby Cole with a 4.51 in the quarter finals, then ousting Terry Robbins with a 4.54 in the semis. On the opposite side of the ladder, Michael Robinson beat Justin Humphreys in the semis, then ran 4.62 againstHill's 4.55-seconds final round pass. (Ian Tocher DRO file photo) [5-1-2006]

We received a press release from racer Brian Olatunji with a lot of info about his Von Dutch-backed racing team and this really cool poster announcing a model search and heads-up race May 5th at Milan Dragway which will also be backed by Von Dutch. [5-1-2006]
