Our friend across the Pond Andy (Tog) Rogers, editor of eurodragster.com sent us this photo of Super Pro ET racer Pat Talbot from the Power Nationals at Shakespeare County Raceway. Ms. Talbot qualified No. 2 and made it through the first round before rain put an
end to the fun. Hope everyone at the race kept that DRO decal in mind.

WEATHER CAUSES DATE CHANGES FOR NPCA AND IRP
Due to the weather conditions for this weekend, the April 7-9 Division 3 Points Meet at Indianapolis Raceway Park has been cancelled. The Div. 3 event will now be held April 21-23, which was the original date for the NPCA Spring Nationals. The NPCA date has now been moved to April 29-30. [4-6-2006]
IHRA SEASON OPENER TELEVISED THIS SATURDAY
SPEED Channel will air the IHRA season opening Amalie Oil Texas Nationals on Saturday. April 8 at 5 p.m. (ET). The race marks the return of the Torco Racing Fuels Pro Nitro Funny Car class to the eMax Drag Racing Series. The show will also include the Top Fuel and Pro Modified classes.
The Alcohol Funny Car and Pro Stock classes will be televised next Saturday, April 15, at 5 p.m. [4-6-2006]
