WEATHER CAUSES DATE CHANGES FOR NPCA AND IRP

Due to the weather conditions for this weekend, the April 7-9 Division 3 Points Meet at Indianapolis Raceway Park has been cancelled. The Div. 3 event will now be held April 21-23, which was the original date for the NPCA Spring Nationals. The NPCA date has now been moved to April 29-30.  [4-6-2006]

IHRA SEASON OPENER TELEVISED THIS SATURDAY

SPEED Channel will air the IHRA season opening Amalie Oil Texas Nationals on Saturday. April 8 at 5 p.m. (ET). The race marks the return of the Torco Racing Fuels Pro Nitro Funny Car class to the eMax Drag Racing Series. The show will also include the Top Fuel and Pro Modified classes.

The Alcohol Funny Car and Pro Stock classes will be televised next Saturday, April 15, at 5 p.m.  [4-6-2006]
