TOP FUEL VS FUNNY CAR FOR NORTHERN SPORTS NATIONALS
One of the Agent’s operatives says that plans are already in the works for nitro cars to be part of the Jeg’s-backed Northern SportsNationals at Columbus, Ohio, this year. Don’t be surprised if that event ends up with all of the NHRA sportsman classes being represented as well as exhibition laps by professional class cars other than nitro floppers and dragsters. Since the town of Columbus has a 35-year-old habit of attending a full-on NHRA national event, it stands to reason they would support a SportsNationals with added classes. [1-5-2007
