ORSCA NAMES OPERATIONS MANAGER

Outlaw Racing Street Car Association (ORSCA) president Johnny Fenn announced Jan. 3, that effective immediately, Jason Mote has assumed most of the Atlanta-based organization's operational duties, leaving Fenn to "take a lead role in the sponsorship and inner company solutions through Year One and the ORSCA."

Mote, most recently the crew chief behind Robbie Erwin's 2006 ORSCA EZ Street championship, was named operations manager, making him responsible for "every function of the ORSCA," Fenn said, including day-to-day decisions, raceday coordination and conflict resolution. "This is a move we all felt needed to be made to move ORSCA now to even a higher level," he added. "I am in no way leaving ORSCA--quite the opposite--I am now going to have even more time to work on things that will insure ORSCA's future."  [1-4-2007]
